got my dream job!
unofficially hired, at least. i got a call this evening saying that i will indefinitely be hired, but the logistics of getting that accomplished is taking longer than anticipated.
now I get to divide my time between two jobs, which may means I’ll be willing to work more hours overall? i sure hope so.
so anyway, I will be a Patient Support Technician in the ER, working specifically with abuse victims and sexual assault victims. Most of my job will involve being on call. Once I get called in for a case, I will assist in documents, lab work, taking photos, and doing anything I can to help the examination process. Honestly, I could not imagine a better job for this point in my life …. besides working in L&D, which I plan to tackle this summer.
